Hi! You probably have our business card.
From printers to pixels
Hi, I'm Dan. Print Bang started the way a lot of good hobbies do: I got a 3D printer purely for the fun of it. I wanted to see what I could make.
Pretty quickly, the printer became the place where all my other obsessions met. Games, geeky collections, the odd gothic streak: if something I wanted didn't exist, I'd design it and print it. If it doesn't exist… why not make it? became the shop's motto, and those little objects found their people. Over 450 orders later, with a 5.0-star rating on Etsy, it turned out a lot of you have the same weird tastes.
Along the way I noticed the best part was never the plastic. It was the idea: the clever mechanic, the in-joke, the thing that makes someone's hobby a bit more fun. So Print Bang is taking that energy digital, and trying to turn a nerdy passion into a proper little business.
What I make now
Useful and interesting digital things for people with niche interests, many hobbies and non-default brains:
- TTRPG Experiences: Character sheets and table tools that do the maths, so you can do the drama.
- Hobby Gamification: Games and mechanics that turn backlogs and piles of shame into something you actually want to play.
- Nerd Organization: Trackers and systems for collections, sessions, projects and hobby overload.
- Dark & Mystical: Gothic, occult and tarot-flavoured things, made with care and a wink.
The first family is Nightbloom: twelve D&D character sheets that do the maths for you, one for every class.
What's staying
The personality. Print Bang is still clever, a little strange, playful and made with care. The printer is still here too, with a handful of handmade pieces available while stock lasts.
How I make things
I design products as families rather than one-offs, and test the maths obsessively: every Nightbloom sheet is checked at every level from 1 to 20, under both the 2014 and 2024 rules. Every product line also gets a free demo, so you can try before you buy. And if you have an idea for what I should make next, vote for it.
